You might not be aware of the name Adam Selman, you’ve truly seen their work prior to. The 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist is Rihanna’s go-to fashion designer, in which he counts Lady Gaga and Rita Ora as followers. When he’s maybe not dressing pop performers in the one-of-a-kind products, he’s giving DIY masterpieces along the Fashion Week runway. One of our fave Adam Selman projects? The reconstructed Converse espadrille sneakers he made for their Spring 2016 collection.

The shoes were an instant hit among manner it girls, so we jumped within opportunity to have the DIY breakdown — right from Adam himself.
